Asset Inventory
The Asset Inventory system in TIKTING allows users to easily add and manage new assets, ensuring that all important details are captured from the beginning. Adding an asset involves a straightforward process designed to record all necessary information for tracking and management.

Add an Asset:
Navigate to the Asset Management Module
From the left sidebar, go to Asset Management section.
Press Add Asset button to open the asset entry form.
Enter Asset Details
[Asset Name] Provide a unique and descriptive name for the asset (e.g., “Dell Latitude Laptop”).
[Purchase Date] Enter the purchase / acquisition date to track the asset’s age and depreciation.
[Price] Provide the asset’s purchase cost for budgeting and financial reporting.
[Warranty Details] Add warranty information, including expiration dates and service provider details (Brand/manufacturer and Vendor).
[Location] Specify the physical location of the asset using Site and Department.
[Category] Categorize the asset and group it with similar assets by choosing category, sub-category and item.
[Owner/Department] Assign the asset to a specific person, department, or customer to ensure accountability. Assignment Date: Record the date when the asset was assigned to the current user or department. Add Financial and Maintenance Details
[Parent Asset] You can nest assets to create a hierarchy of assets by choosing parent asset.
[Description] Add any relevant information about the asset such as specifications, condition, or purpose.
[Upload Documents] Upload the asset thumbnail image. Upload all relevant documents such as purchase receipts, warranty certificates, or service agreements to keep everything in one place.
[Save the Asset] Asset will be listed in the Asset List page.
